Role-Based Color Scheme

Hello all!

This plugin looks amazing.

Quick question, is there a way to set role-based color schemes on this or any other plugin?

Ideally, the plan is to make it so when someone becomes a certain role on my website, it changes their website color scheme.

For instance, with one role, I’d like it to have, say, “Sunrise” as a theme, but for another, “Corporate”.

Is that possible?

Thanks!

Adminimize not working with WooCommerce Product Vendors

Hello

Merry Christmas!

I have Woocommerce + WooCommerce Product Vendors + Adminimize.

When I try to hide using adminimize a menu to the user with the role of Admin Vendor and I click on update I get a “page not found” error.
I am very grateful to help me to solve this inconvenience because the adminimize plugin is important to be able to customize my wordpress.

Note: I apologize for my English, I used google translator to write this question

Adminize Hiding Unselected Plugin Menu

I’m using Adminize on a Multisite install on which I also have a Google Analytics plugin installed. Oddly, Adminize is hiding the menu for the Google Analytics plugin (google-analytics/google-analytics.php), despite that option not being checked.

Here is the line in Adminize: — Google Analytics (Slug: google-analytics)[__42], underneath Settings. Regardless of user role, the Google Analytics menu does not show despite being unchecked in Adminize’s settings.

Admin Menu hidden

Hi!

1. I’ve created another admin user and hid everything from the menu except a plugin, gallery, testimonials, events and adminize itself.
It happens that when I loggin with either one of the admins, the adminize menu is not there anymore and now I cant recover my backoffice and edit the site.

2. Also is there a way to allow a different user other than an administrator to have access to a plugin bo?

Custom Options Disappearing Even Though They’re Working

I have a rather strange problem and I’ve read and read through these support forum posts to try to find if anyone else has had the problem but it’s not quite the same as anyone else.

All of my custom options I put in myself have disappeared from the Adminimize settings so that I cannot check or uncheck them. However, they all seem to still be working on the site. I cannot remove them or change them, but they are still somehow working.

I noticed this because I actually need to change the appearance of one of them but I cannot because it’s not showing up in the user interface.

I thought maybe it was a max_input_vars problem, but I tried that and increased it all the way up to 9000 and they still won’t show up again. Anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

Tried already with classes, ids etc.. But it`s still accessable.

[Resolved] Getting 404 Errors When Updating Some Menus/Functions

I installed Adminimize today. Some of it works great, but I’m getting 404 errors after submitting changes for certain post types. It also seems that even though the update might have hidden the right items, when I load the Adminimize tool, the checkboxes don’t reflect the current state for these post types.

Cheatin’ uh error – no access on login

After updating WordPress to 4.7 no user but the original administrator can login. The infamous “Cheatin’ uh? Sorry, you are not allowed to access this site.” error shows for every other user.

When I de-activate Adminimize (v. 1.11.2 – other plugins are up-to-date as well) all users can log in without problems.

Re-installing WP 4.7, de-activating and activating the Adminimize plugin, changing user password, creating a new user (different roles) did not solve this.

Anything else I can try?

Remove from Plugins list

Hi

This plugin is fantastic; I can now show my clients only what is necessary for them to do what they need to, without the distraction of many of the other admin features.

There is, however, one section I can’t seem to get to work, and that is to remove individual plugins from the plugins section for instance Adminimimize, Jetpack, Loginizer and others which I will be controlling and not them.

I have tried a variety of things and thought I had it solved from one of the other forum posts by using .plugins tr:nth-child(4) etc but that only works until a new plugin is installed and then it all goes to pot.

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I installed your plugin..
now, I have 2 users:
– admin (that’s me)
– editor, my client for which I hide some items in left sidebar

I don’t want to hide the ‘Users’ tab to the editor.. i.e., i want that even my client can add new users.
I have not checked the box for the same in the plugin settings to make it hide from the editor, but then too its hidden from the editor

Just wondering if it’s possible to hide theme default meta boxes from editor user role in the backend. My theme (the7) has meta boxes like ‘side options’ ‘page header options’ ‘footer options’, etc…

I don’t see it in the default adminimize settings where I can hide these areas. Wondering if anyone can help?

Thanks for your time.

Visual verses Text issue

When I open a Page or Post for editing, the VISUAL editor is the main editing window I see. If I switch to TEXT (make corrections and save) and then open another Page or Post it defaults back to the VISUAL editor.

Without Adminimize, which ever editor is chosen it remains until I change it.

Is there any way to change this, so I get to choose which is the default.

I have not set up Adminimize for any users including the Administrator, by deactivating any options and could not see if there is an appropriate box to tick.

Many thanks
Peter
